Our National Youth Folk Ensemble is more than just a wonderful band of musicians. It’s also the most visible part of a major outreach initiative.
Through the Ensemble and its related activities, we are investing in the next generation. In many cases we are giving these young people their very first experience of folk music. With your help, we can aim to do even more.

The National Youth Folk Ensemble is an English Folk Dance and Song Society programme, funded by Arts Council England. The Ensemble is a National Youth Music Organisation, and part of its agreed funding comes from the Department for Education.
