The fund provides up to £25,000 to projects by Camden-based cultural organisations to help deliver cultural education and learning projects promoting engagement in free-to-access, high-quality cultural experiences in the borough.
The grants have been awarded to organisations with a track record of delivering
outreach in community or school settings in the borough, including The Place, Kiln Theatre, Camden People’s Theatre and Foundling Museum.
English Folk Dance and Song Society will deliver Folk Unlimited Summer Course – a four-day folk music and dance summer school for learning disabled young people. They will work towards a performance showcasing songs and dances they have learnt, to take place at Cecil Sharp House on the last day of the workshop.
Supported by Camden Council Culture Service with funding from the Cultural Education and Learning Support Fund.
