Fun with Folk was originally developed as part of Take 6, a project in 2008-2009 to make the folk archives of the English Folk Dance and Song Society (EFDSS) more easily accessible to the public. Six important folk song collections were made available on-line, for anyone to research.
This project was funded through a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
